The first phase of the Nabard Development Assistant Exam will be the Preliminary Examination. This phase will consist of three tests: English Language, Numerical Ability & Reasoning. There will be a total of 100 questions carrying 100 marks and there will be a composite timing of 1 hour. All the questions will carry 1 mark each and will consist of negative marking of 1/4th marks.

The duration available for the Mains will be composite time of 90 minutes and 30 minutes for the Englisg descriptive test.
